6:20 - 6:40 Rincon Trail Bike Path - Coming Soon! - Matt Roberts (City of Carpinteria)
Learn about the plans for the newly funded Rincon Trail Class 1 Bike Path. This project will bridge a major gap in the California Coast Bicycle Route by connecting from the Carpinteria Bluffs Preserve to the Rincon Beach Park where the Ralph Fertig Bikeway begins.
6:40 - 7:00 Opens Streets in Carpinteria - Robin Elander (Open Streets, Global Good Impact)
Learn all about Open Streets 2017 which is set to take place along portions of 8th, 9th and Linden Street. Learn how Open Streets promotes health and community by reclaiming our streets for recreation, art and family-friendly fun! Robin Elander, project coordinator of Open Streets will share details about the event including must-see things to see and do as well as how to get involved as a volunteer.
