Is your child planning on biking to school next year? Get them ready over the Summer! Open to all 10-14 year olds.
Monday-Friday: June 11-15th from 9:00am-noon at the Carpinteria Children's Project
Biking is a great way to get to school, and students enjoy riding with friends and love the freedom of having their own wheels. What they need are the skills to ride confidently, within the law, and preparedness for a flat tire. Over the five days in this camp, students will learn basic bike mechanics, fixing a flat tire, bike handling skills, signage, visibility, etiquette and how to choose the best, safest route to school. They'll go on group rides each day with certified League Cycling Instructors (LCIs).
Non-refundable registration fee: $150. Pre-register online or bring a check to the Carpinteria's Children's Project to save a spot. Registration is not complete without payment. Space is limited to 12 participants. Register early and invite a friend!
Scholarship available. For approval, please contact SBBIKE Education Director or give a call at 805-699-6301. At the Carpinteria Children's Project, talk or give a call to Chris Sobell at (805) 566-1621.
