Inspiring the Community to Ride

This year, the theme for the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival is 'Inspire.' When SBBIKE provides free bike valet to everyone attending the festival, we inspire more people to ride their bikes. With more bikes and less cars, traffic is alleviated, people are happier, and parking is a cinch. Over the course of two days, we park over 1,000 bicycles in our corner of Alameda Park. It takes many volunteers to make it successful and fun. You'll get to see all sorts of sweet bikes, get fed, and you'll get an SBBIKE T-shirt. Come lend us a hand!

Shift Sign-Up

We'll need some help setting up racks that will accommodate over 600 bikes at some points during the Earth Day Festival! Join us for this Friday session if you're a pro at assembling racks or if you want to become one.

Friday, April 20, 2018: 10:00am-1:00pm

There are three shifts on both Saturday and Sunday. During these days you will be busy parking bikes and returning them to their owners. Food will be available to all volunteers at the Earth Day volunteer booth. Sign up with friends or family, help for a shift and then enjoy the festival.
