Interested in riding a bike around town?

Take the plunge and join the welcoming and friendly SBBIKE Community Bike Rides (age 16 +) led by certified League Cycling Instructors. They are educational, fun and FREE for all current SBBIKE members!

On Tuesday, March 20th, the group will go for a casual ride after work starting at De La Guerra Plaza, in front of City Hall. All participants should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting at all traffic signals. SBBIKE Community Bike Rides are no-drop rides meaning that every participant respects traffic laws and nobody is left behind during the one hour ride.

Please bring:

  • Your bicycle, in good running order and don't forget your helmet.
  • A set of night lights (white in the front and red in the back)
  • All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian.

Timeline:

Meet at Santa Barbara City Hall, at De La Guerra Plaza at 5:15pm, return by 6:30-6:45pm.

All are welcome. All adult participants must complete & sign a waiver. A parent or legal guardian is required to sign this waiver for minors participating in the ride.
