Tour de Tent is a celebration of the outdoors, sustainable bicycle transportation, and the cycling community. Join a large group of fellow riders for a social-paced, no-drop bicycle tour. This year’s route is a two-day, 100 mile ride from Surf, CA to the lovely Sedgwick Reserve and back to Santa Barbara. We’ll enjoy a hearty barbecue dinner together and camp overnight. Breakfast is provided in the morning before heading back to Santa Barbara.
Saturday, May 7:
Riders will meet in the morning at the Santa Barbara Amtrak station at 9:00am. Bicycles will be loaded into the bicycle truck/trailer or train and riders will board the Northbound Amtrak to Surf with all their camping gear at 10:22am. After regrouping in Surf we’ll mount our loaded bicycles and begin the 45 mile ride inland to the Sedgwick Reserve.

The Sedgwick Reserve, managed by UCSB, will kindly host riders for camping Saturday night. We’ll provide a barbecue dinner and beverages; share stories and laughs before settling into your tent.
Sunday, May 8:
There will be breakfast and coffee Sunday morning before an early departure back towards Santa Barbara. This segment will be 60 miles long so be prepared for a full day in the saddle.
