Fun in the Sun: Junior High Passion Pursuits Program
Bring a bike in working condition and a helmet if you have one. Participants will learn how to do a quick bike tune-up (fix a flat, lubricate the chain, adjust brakes...) with a Bici Centro expert. When the bike is in good working order, participants will improve their bike riding skills on a parking lot. They will also experience the fun and the freedom of rides with new friends through neighborhood streets. Participants must be able to ride independently and follow directions and safety rules.
Learn & Earn
Refurbished bikes will be available for participants who don't own one at home. Earning a refurbished bike requires attendance and milestones accomplishment throughout the program. Attendance is required at all classes.
The Junior High Passion Pursuits program offered through Fun in the Sun (United Way of Santa Barbara County) is scheduled once a week from 10:00-11:30am at Bici Centro during 6 weeks (June 19-July 24th).
Enrollment is limited to 12 participants only.
