In Pedal Power, participants first improve their bike riding skills on a parking lot and then, they experience the fun and the freedom of rides with new friends though neighborhood streets. * Participants must be able to ride independently and follow directions and safety rules. All participants will learn to become "drivers of a bicycle" with the guidance of a certified League Cycling Instructor (LCI). Choosing safe bike routes and how fix a flat tire are two important skills taught during Pedal Power.

New helmet and refurbished bikes are available for Pedal Power participants who don't own a bike and want to earn one at the end of the program. Earning a bike requires attendance and milestones accomplishment throughout the program.

 *  An online waiver must be completed by parent or guardian before the first day of class. Attendance is required at all classes.
